I have had alove of horses for many years. I started when I was 9 and am curerenlty competetively english riding in the show ring. I always find myself watching videos of my favourite riders and horses, the summer olympics is always a favourite of mine to so i can watch the equestrian section. The royal winter fair is always siomething i go to aswell and see the riders and horses compete.

My favourite rider is Eric lamaze. In 2007, Lamaze became the first Canadian jumping rider in 20 years to make the top ten in the world rankings. He was also the first North American jumping rider to exceed one million in prize money a year, a third of these earnings came as a result of winning the CN International Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows.

In the January 2009 Rolex World Rankings for show jumping by the International Equestrian Federation, Lamaze was named to the top spot for the first time.[3] Lamaze returned to No. 1 for July 2010.

My favourite hore is hickstead, though is is in heaven he will always be my number one. The amazing stallion Hickstead will go into history as one of the world’s greatest showjumping horses ever. During his fantastic career with Eric Lamaze he achieved unbelievable good results – he was truly a horse of a lifetime.
